Krishna loves to turn our heads

Krishna loves to share pastimes in so many forms,
With no norms of these forms;
He takes on to fulfil the desires of his devotees,
thus to fulfill our desires, he just conforms.

Krishna as baby appears helpless,
wanting the love of parents as it appears.
With Yashoda and Nanda loving him so,
how he makes their eyes filled with happy tears!

How can he appear so helpless with cries for milk,
lying and stealing butter, eating mud and such petty deeds,
blaming others, teasing gopis, breaking pots,
What could the Supreme person lack to meet his needs!

Sending Yashoda maiya into such preplexing doubts,
how could she believe he is Supreme personality of Godhead!
So, she defends him as her helpless lad,
While all others roll their eyes, yet nod their head!

Krishna walks hither-tither as young cowboy,
in his own rhythm with other cowherd boys.
So naughty as to steal all that butter,
breaking the pots as he plan decoys.

The magnanimity of actions grows as he grows;
where such magnificent deeds he shows.
Enticing our hearts with his playful ways;
enticing smiles, lotus eyes, seed of love he sows.

His sweet words, melodious flute and amazing courage,
we watch wonder-struck as he entices our heart;
Witty talks and sweet pastimes with gopis,
as he paints sweet scenes all the world apart!

Mersmerizing the whole universe in his boundless spell,
how sweetly he entices us all, be a friend or foe.
Thoughts of him to be our best friends;
drowns us in sweet love from head to toe.
